Longhorn Fashions in the Austin American Statesman

3rd Oct 2010

Longhorn Fashions was in the Austin American Statesman on 9/30!

Thank you Austin American Statesman for including Longhorn Fashions in your article on making burnt orange work in a stylish wardrobe.

"If you're on the hunt, some of my favorites selections include the orange-and-gray-striped Black Halo dress at Estilo (234 W. Second St. 236-0488, www.estiloaustin.com), the jacket from the private label Maude at Langford Market (249 W. Second St. 482-8500) and a silk wrap dress by Eight Sixty, which I spotted online at www.longhornfashions.com, a new style e-commerce site founded by UT alumna Tessie Watson, 23, who lives in Austin. (The website, which is updated daily, offers stylish options even for people who don't love orange.) Selections on the website this week are less than $75 per item, and in the future, Watson wants to offer exclusive garments.

Said Watson: "I went in search of all things burnt orange and white to get pieces that were unique and more flattering than the typical T-shirt. It's not just game-day attire."
